  • Amazing! Over a year ago I tore the MCL ligaments in my knee and did damage to my cartilage, after nearly a year out from playing top level Hockey and visits to many different physiotherapists, who told me I would have to live with the pain, I found Lily and after 6 sessions the pain has gone! I am looking to start training again over summer and start the new season with a new passion for the game after thinking I may never play at a high level again! Its all thanks to Lily’s healing hands! Highly recommended!

  • Lily has healing hands! I have suffered on and off with an injury to my right knee for many years. I limped into Lily’s treatment room at a time when my knee was particularly sore. After just one session the pain in my knee had eased considerably and had virtually disappeared by the following day. The combination of effective massage and applying heat has worked wonders for this problem. I strongly recommend Lily and her extremely effective sports massage therapy.

  • I had been suffering with sciatica for several months which was being treated unsuccessfully by my GP with anti-inflammation drugs. I also had problems with muscular damage to my back from a series of lifting accidents sustained whilst nursing ten years ago. Sadly I had shoulder and neck pain which seemed to link to the pins and needling of my fingers.

    I was referred to Ling Li by a friend. After consultation, Ling pointed out all those problems on my right side including sciatica are resulted from my 10 years old accidental back injury! Having worked on that, within a few sessions my back and sciatica began to improve significantly. Shoulder and neck are fine and pins and needling on my fingers are gone.

    After a month of treatment my sciatica is totally gone and I have no pain in my back and hip and leg. I am very grateful for these serious improvements in what seemed like a chronic problem that I had resigned myself to living with! This is all due to Ling’s specialist skills.

  • I contacted Lily because of long-standing pain (5-6 years) in my shoulder and back, and she immediately recommended a course of deep tissue massage and a personal exercise plan. Although a little uncomfortable at the time, I’m sure the short-term pain will lead to long-term gain in terms of my future physical condition. After just four sessions of massage my pain has reduced significantly, and I am sure this is due to Lily’s expert treatment!

  • I started to have massage with Lily a couple of months ago. Her massage is relaxing and powerful, after a massage with Lily you will find you have all the energy you need. I have been to several masseurs in the past and Lily is the best.

    She is fantastic. If you play sport like me, you will find her performance very good. I had back pain, but now it is better and I feel like a new man. She is also a very good listener, really professional and friendly. I recommend her massage to everybody, and hope you will enjoy it as well as I do.

  • I was left with a lot of bruising and pain from having badly hurting my back in a bus accident. After I continued to feel a lot of pain and struggled to get out of bed even a couple of months after the accident, I decided to pay Lily a visit. I found her massages very relaxing and soothing. Together with her advice on exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the pain I was suffering was alleviated.   • I have had a major injury in my leg and back which I have had treatment for over many years, without much success. Many therapists can ease the problem but not fully treat it. It is difficult to find a masseuse who has the skills in different massage techniques to treat such a difficult and persistent injury. Working at the university and having been a member of the gym for many years, I had heard about Direct D-Stress as I was looking for someone locally who could perform deep tissue massage.

    I found Lily very easy to get along with and that she wasn’t afraid to tackle a difficult problem area. She provides a complete range of services to cater to any type of problem, which also includes suggestions for out-of-hours treatments that you can perform yourself to help aid recovery. After seeing her for a month, my injury had recovered to such an extent that I could easily return to my previous level of exercise and activity. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who has a sports or general muscular injury!

  • Lily was a great find! I had been suffering from an injury to my leg for sometime, though I had previously had some physiotherapy it was still no better so I decided to give Lily’s sports massage a try. After only two sessions I no longer had any pain and was able to get back to training more intensely. It was such a relief to get treatment that really worked!

  • I dislocated my shoulder in January and after manipulation and physio regained movement I still had painful tissue damage that I was informed could take up to 12 months to heal. The injury meant that even jogging was painful and any weights out of the question. After 3 sessions with Lily, I am pain free (can even sleep on my right side!) and am now doing intensive anaerobic exercise and (light) weights to rebuild wasted muscle. Thanks Lily!
