I suffered recurring muscle tears to my left calf over a period of a year, a problem that kept me off work for 5 weeks on the first occasion, 3 weeks on the second, and that prevented me from participating in any sports. I went to Lily at Direct-D-Stress; she immediately located the source of the problem, and set to work on eradicating it.

Through a combination of 4 sessions with her, and following her advice in-between times on exercise and self-treatment, I was able to make a rapid recovery and get back to light training in preparation for more rigorous sports within only 2 weeks.

I dislocated a vertebra following a particularly bad tackle playing rugby. I went to see various sports physiotherapists over the next 8 months and although they had relocated the vertebra, the muscles around the injury had been in spasm for such a long time that I had been left in constant pain. The physiotherapists did what they could to alleviate this but I was unable to lift my own body to even get out of bed without feeling a sharp pain down my back. The physiotherapists said that this was something I would have to learn to live with.

My brother put me in touch with Lily and I have to admit, I was cynical. I had three one-hour sessions with Lily over three days which left me completely pain free. For the first time in 8 months I was able to do sit-ups and get out of bed without any pain. I honestly thought that I would never be able to play rugby again but, thanks to Lily, I have started training and I am looking forward to the new season. Thanks Lily!

Lily is professional, friendly, and an expert in what she does. I came to her with several side effects of stress – constant ringing in the ears (Tinnitus)! I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t concentrate on any study or work. I was exhausted and had series of headaches every week… had visited GP a few times and been referred to hearing test, but my hearing was totally fine. I was very depressed as there seemed no solution from anywhere while I was suffering everyday. I visited Direct D-Stress for relaxation but surprisingly, lily listened to my story patiently and arranged a course of treatment sessions for me straight away. Lily has made my experience very relaxing and very effective. As I was preparing to run the London Marathon 2012, she really prepared my body (especially the state of my calfs and ham-strings) for the gruelling 26.2 mile run.
